i trace my steps

 

along the muddy banks

we walk

side by side

in grace and grime

i pause

you wait

past smoking chimneys

falling leaves

and

a muddied tow-path

Now the lock-down restrictions have been eased it's starting to get busier down by the canal. Lots more boats and the freedom to travel up and down the water.

The peace of water and reflections on a sunny winter morning. This is fast becoming one of our favourite walks, despite the muddy canal-side.
