Peter Forson is an absolutely fantastic hat-shop nestled in the heart of Birmingham's Great Western Arcade. It's owned and run by Daisy Nyamie, who named it after her maternal great-uncle.

A graduate from the University of Kent, Daisy's first job in the fashion industry was selling hats. Since then she's gone on to found an on-line hat shop before opening for business in the Arcade.  She's already captured the attention of the national press which given the quality of the merchandise she stocks is hardly a surprise.  I bought a particularly fine Harris Tweed cap made by the legendary Stetson company. Many other famous brands are on sale and it's well worth checking out their Instagram account.

It hasn't all been plain-sailing for Daisy but from the brief time I spent in her company it seems clear she's a determined young lady with a keen eye for style, quality and business. I'm delighted to doff my (new) hat to her!
