It's Sunday afternoon and the doors open to welcome our community. Old friends celebrate, a new family to the village join us. We enjoy together a fantastic Italian feast.

village celebrations

A word or two of explanation. Some little time ago we planned a Spanish themed village event. How unfortunate it fell on the same day as the Euro Finals. We were the only place for miles around decked out in Spanish flags!!!

The paella was fantastic, the company great and the massed ranks of the "Sweet Caroline Chorus Girls" sublime. I will say no more about the result of the football.....
