a walk around a lake

Such strange feelings retracing the steps I took thirty years ago around this little estate-locked lake. Memories of early mornings, wellingtons and walking hand-in-hand with my eldest daughter, then aged five.

Some things have changed, some haven't.

beached

It rained during most of our recent visit to Norfolk but we still managed to make it to one of our favourite places, Wells-next-the-Sea.  On the way down to the beach we came across ta woven maze installation pictured above.

The sky was high, the sea was far out but it was still good to walk in the salty winter air.
