Forever Mattie

Lots of memories of Mattie will be shared over the weeks and months to come.  A lady who loved her family dearly and who was loved dearly by them.  Here's how I best remember her - a smile on her face and a plate in her hand!

The eyes of love

You can see it in the doe-wide eyes of an excited eleven-month old boy who reaches out to touch a magical world so tantalisingly close. It's there in the adoring eyes of his first-time mother as she scoops him up tenderly into her arms. And so too in the proud eyes of a father playing peek-a-boo in the glint of an early evening mirror.
