nigel

Proof positive that you don't need to spend a king's ransom on top-end photography equipment to capture a decent image.

The photographs in my last posting (Genny) were taken using my new lighting system. In contrast these photos featuring a fellow member of the MAC Photosocial Group, were illuminated by a humble electrical heater!

the model

Earlier this week I attended an excellent workshop on lighting run by Wex Photo VideoIt was led by professional photographer, Darren Fellows, who made sure the session was fun, engaging and highly informative from start to finish.

Here are some of the photos I took of Olivia, a lovely model from Derby who helped all us to get the best shots we could.  The lighting kit was supplied by Rotolight, a family run business based in Pinewood Studios.
