aston villa 1 v 4 west ham - dean smith's last home game
It proved to be his last home game.
The writing was on the wall when West Ham scored with just seven minutes on the clock. A brilliant Ollie Watkins equaliser gave grounds for hope, but then three unanswered goals and a red-card for Ezri Konsa signalled the beginning of the end. He cut a lonely figure as the final whistle went.
Thank you Dean for everything you did to bring us back to the Premiership.

live at the three stirrups
So we can call up any music, anytime of the day, anywhere. And listen to it all alone. Shame of it is, we can't enjoy it together.
Music has always been about community. A moment in time shared forever.
It was my first visit to 'The Live Lounge' and after Covid lock-down what an experience! It was like John Martyn, Jake Thackeray, Carly Simon and Bukka White had all dropped in for a pint and a jam with their 'bezzies'.
What a night! Thank you so much to Joe Bayliss, Tim Martin, Sue Stevens and Trevor Babajack Steger for your brilliant perfomances.
