haunted funfair
the clowns are all hung from the lamp-posts
the swans have been long put to sleep
we crawl through a barbed-wire outpost
in search of some ghostly relief
donald duck is training his spy-glass
on the last of the fast-fading sun
and the haunted funfair advances
our nightmares have just begun
